Completing this 3 hr. course provides Idaho certification in food safety under the state’s Food Protection Program. The certification is good for 5 years. The classes are designed to satisfy one of the four requirements of the Idaho Food Code for a person in charge. Another available resource is an on-line food safety exam that can be accessed at foodsafety.idaho.gov. A person in charge must be present at the food establishment during all hours of food preparation and service.

Please pre-register the individuals attending from your establishment by phone, fax, or mail. You may use the Certification Course Registration Form. Class limited to the first 25 people to register.
