LEWISTON, IDAHO - In recognition of Asthma & Allergy Awareness Month, Public Health Idaho North Central District and the North Central Idaho Asthma Coalition are sponsoring the seventh annual “Walk a Mile or Two for Asthma” Awareness Walk and the sixth annual Asthma Day Camp. The walk is Saturday, May 16th, registration opens at 9:00 a.m., walk begins at 10:00 a.m., and drawing starts at 11:15 a.m. The day camp will follow the walk and is intended for children ages 5 to 12 who have asthma or have a friend or family member with asthma. The camp starts at 12:00 p.m. and will end at 4:00 p.m. Both events are free of charge.
Registrants should gather at the large group shelter at Kiwanis Park, located on Snake River Avenue, across from Riverview Marina.
