Novel H1N1 Vaccination Clinics

Public Health is no longer holding weekly Novel H1N1 vaccination clinics.  Novel H1N1 vaccinations will continue to be available during our normal vaccination clinics in each of our five (5) county offices.  The H1N1 vaccine continues to be free, however appointments may be needed to ensure availability.  Vaccination schedules vary by office, so please contact the office nearest you for information on date and time.

Population Groups

Public Health - Idaho North Central District’s H1N1 flu vaccine is available to everyone interested in receiving the vaccine over the age of 6 months.  Public Health especially encourages anyone within tthe following groups to be vaccinated.

  • Pregnant women
  • Children and young adults 6 months through 24 years of age
  • Household contacts and caregivers for children less than 6 months of age
  • Health Care and Emergency Medical Services Personnel
  • Persons aged 25 through 64 who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza

Students
School aged students were able to get the H1N1 vaccination at participating schools throughout our district.  Public Health worked with schools to determine mutually beneficial times and dates to hold clinics.  At this time the school vaccination clinics have completed.  Any students still needing vaccination should attend one of Public Health’s regular vaccination clinics as noted above.

All H1N1 vaccine distributed by PHINCD will be free to the public.
Private providers may charge an administration fee.
