North Central Healthcare Coalition

The North Central Healthcare Coalition (NCHC) is a network of hospitals, EMS providers, long-term care providers, emergency management, and other community partners committed to strengthening the local healthcare system’s ability to respond to emergencies and disasters.  The purpose of this group is to enhance coordination and communication within the healthcare community in responding to the health effects of a major emergency or disaster.

With adequate representation from healthcare organizations and community partners in the north central Idaho area, the North Central Healthcare Coalition can increase our healthcare system’s capacity to respond to a major disaster through collaborative planning, timely communication and information sharing, and effective resource coordination.
