About Parents as Teachers

A parent is a child’s first and most important teacher. This FREE program is designed to provide parents with information and to help build their children’s intellectual, language, social, and physical development from birth to age five. Parents as Teachers helps guide parents through their child’s developmental stages and gives them tools for success.

It is our mission to provide information, support and encouragement for parents. It is our goal to:

  • Increase parent knowledge, improve parenting practices.
  • Provide early detection of delays.
